Detroit’s ride scene stays active through the warm months, with different rides bringing different energy depending on the day. Some are community-focused, some are more structured, and some lean more Bike Life. Always check the host page before pulling up, because meetup spots, routes, and times can shift.  

Sunday

Pushing Pedals Sundays

Our signature Sunday ride series runs from May through September, with the 2026 season publicly promoted from May 3 through September 27. The season opener is listed at the Joe Louis Greenway, 7241 McDonald St, Detroit, with meetup at 5:00 PM and rollout at 6:00 PM. This ride is about Detroit culture, good energy, food, fellowship, and ending the weekend strong.

Monday

Soul Roll

Soul Roll is one of the regular Monday staples in the Detroit ride scene. Public listings continue to point riders to Eastern Market Shed 5 for the meetup and describe it as a social evening cruise with D-Town Riders.

Tuesday

Oak Park E-Z Roll

Oak Park E-Z Roll is the Tuesday slot. The group’s Facebook presence describes it as a family-oriented weekly summer bike ride. Public posts and group summaries show riders meeting behind the Oak Park Library / at Oak Park Blvd and Coolidge, with meetup times commonly listed around 6:00–6:30 PM and rollout around 7:00 PM. Older coverage says the ride is about 8 miles and usually lasts around an hour and a half, which fits its easier community-ride feel.

Hazel Park Pedals

Hazel Park Pedals remains a midweek option for riders looking for a more neighborhood-based group ride outside Detroit proper. The public group currently points riders to behind Hazel Park High School, with a 7:00 PM meetup and 7:10 PM departure.

This is one of the more structured Wednesday options. The group remains active, and public pages show that locations can vary, so it is best treated as a check-the-posts ride instead of locking it to one address every week.

Thursday

Slow Roll Detroit

Slow Roll now rolls from Chroma Detroit, 2937 E Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202, not the old Trek store. Their current public page lists meet at 6:00 PM, roll at 6:30 PM, back by 8:30 PM, with a chill 8–10 mph pace and an average route of about 12 miles.

EDR Zombie Ride

EDR Zombie Ride is still part of the Thursday lineup, though like some other rides, weekly confirmation is smart before showing up. Public references still connect it to the west side and the Save A Lot/Plymouth Rd area.

Southfield Slow Rollers

Southfield Slow Rollers remains one of the more safety-focused suburban ride options in the broader weekly mix. Public references still tie it to the Southfield Civic Center pattern.
